I made this beat in the midst of my toughest time in life. I was coming off of being homeless during my junior and senior year of high school. I signed up for Summer classes for collage and tried my best to see the bright side of things. One day before my high school graduation, I ended up getting an apartment with my mom and I thought everything was good. Unfortunately, not too long after, my mom succumbed to the life of drugs and left me without food and stopped caring about me. Hungry, broken, and disappointed, I still tapped on my beat pad with hope in the air. One day I wont be hungry. One day I will have everything I ever wanted! This beat is the product of my pain and my hopefulness. Despite what I was going through and despite what I will go through; Through it all I WILL SHINE!
